We have got customers out there with about 4000 to 5000 miles on these hydraulic rollers in FEs. We have small blocks of course with 100,000 miles on them and more.
The Pond block is drilled such that the lifter bores do get oil to them. We have seen no problem with them so far and do not know why we would. The Shelby block has worked fine for us in this regard as well. I do not see a problem with either block in the oiling department. We always check the blocks and oil galleys before we work on them and then we check the oiling when we prime them. We have sen no bearing problems with any of the engines. Thanks, Keith
