When I was there last, the Daytona was just about rolling. The chassis has nearly been fitted and Warrick has all suspension components away at the powder coaters last time I was down there. Still got to do all inner panels and few other small things, but it's looking good.
Warrick is not flopping the bodies, I know where they are coming from, but not sure if it's public knowledge...yet.
So if you wanted one, Warrrick could set you up with Body/Chassis quite quickly I expect. Last few Cobra body/chassis units have been supplied in 4 weeks from deposit and rolling chassis have been taking 8 weeks. Now that's fast.
I reckon Daytona would be perfect race car. You could fit full roll cage without spoiling the look of the car and you get that cool lift up/removeable front section. Plus of course better aerodynamics etc etc.
It's good living local on the Gold Coast now, so much cool Cobra and GT40 action here. Just wish I had the time to make the most of it.
