I would trust the TMD. I'd say it's all the same rod. You take a big solid chunk of 4340 steel with ARP cap bolts....it's hard to go wrong.
I'm spec'ing out my parts for my upcoming FE build. I plan on going with those and a Scat crank. You can get a new Scat internally balanced crank for $569. Not too shabby.
