George at Gessford made an interesting comment about that concerning my crank. He said be SURE to tell the local machinist here to grind the crank to the "small side" of the specs to insure enough bearing clearance!!!! Seems to me that .0015 was barely "acceptable" and .002 was better.

After using the "mic" I also used Plasti Gauge, just to double check my work. Some people don't like the Plasti for anything, to each his own! I say, "Can't hurt to double check" everything.
