Chuck..right on...an FMX.
C9ZP-7008-A is a 1969 Ford large car hd transmission, 3 speed.
A C3 has a round governor port on the R/S only, a C4 has them on both sides. A C3 has 13 bolts on the trans pan, a C4 11 and is a 3 pc trans (trans/bellhousing/convertor). A C6 is 2 pc (integral bellhousing) with 17 bolts on the pan. The FMX and Cruise-O-Matics (same basic trans) have 14 bolts and a cast iron case (others are alum). A Ford-O-Matic is an REALLY old 2 speed trans, 2 pc,, 14 bolt pan with 1 round governor housing on the left side.
