I had a great time! Sue couldn't make it at the last minute....and I was glad to stop at the Dormans' to pick up a Co-pilot. A bright young man named Joey Dorman was assigned to me. He was very polite and somewhat of a conversationalist...we had a great time on the trip. He was given the camera duty while we cruised up I-71 in the caravan.

Here he got a cool shot of mom and dad as we played "highway- picture- tag".

Then after heading north for and hour or so, Steve Kump merged in with the caravan at Rt30. Welcome aboard Steve!

This was my first OCC family picnic...and what a nice way to spend the afternoon. The weather became threatening and most decided to head home. After departing, we were quickly drenched before pulling into a gas station under cover to put the tops on. The cruise home had scattered showers.

As we approached the northern limits of Columbus, Rick's cobra started slowing down. I pulled up next to him and heard a the sounds of a gurgling, missfiring engine. After stopping, he determined that he was out of gas despite the 1/4 tank reported by fuel gage. Anyway...no big deal. Me and my trusty co-pilot ( now the "Bass Master Joey", hopped back on the road to retrieve some gas. We made it back in about 10 min....then everyone finished the journey home.

Sincere thanks to Gary for hosting it....I'm looking forward to returning next year!
