Default For Sale: Superformance #069 - $34,000

Hello, everyone. My Superformance Cobra serial #069 is for sale. I am the second owner.

Brief history on this car: The first owner in Michigan purchased it in 1996 but the build was never really completed. I agreed to buy the car, sans a motor, in late 2003, and started to complete the project. Now it has a 351W Ford Racing crate motor (382hp), and Pro-System carb. (amazing carb., very highly recommended), complete with Ford Racing accessories.

It is also updated with new Trigos (originally, it came with steel wheels with fiberglass covers), a front stabilizer bar (car was initially delivered without any in front), Superformance overflow tank, Orthoff motor mount, MSD-6AL, MSD distributor, new calipers/rotors, new tach/speedo/fuel level gauges, Stelling & Helling air cleaner, K&N filter element, Raydot and other parts. Proper alignment, addition of front stabilizer bar and ride-height adjustment gave this car a real nice handling characteristics. This car is well sorted out today.

Excellent paint and interior is quite nice also.

Registered in Illinois as 1965 Superformance Cobra (per Illinois law) and it is emissions exempt in Illinois. Odometer reads about 3,400 miles and that is the mileage I have driven with a 351W. Prior mileage is uncertain but the first owner reckoned about a few thousand miles – mostly test mileage while he was trying to finish up the car.

Reason for the sale: Now the car is all sorted out, I would like to tackle another project.

Offered at $34,000, and comes with some extra parts also, such as an extra 4150, motor mounts for 427, a stock Ford distributor unit that came with the crate motor, etc. Of course, top and side curtains are included. There are a couple of Windy City Cobra Club members who are somewhat familiar with this car and I will be happy to introduce them to interested parties. Please contact Seiji at (312) 828-7743 office, or PM me for more info.
