Looking at the little Lincolns thas AM, both set at 16.5 and running perfect.
Maybe the lower pressure is the 25 opening on the tip using 23 wire, possibly dunno. Works for years and with the shop fans going full tilt boogie in the 100 degree Texas heat.
We use this combination to eliminate and "dips" or "sprays" the will ruin the average tip and liner on any brand MIG welder.
Try a combination that best suits your welding criteria and feel, this was just a suggestion and not fixed, TOO MANY VARIABLES.
