The Roush motor gets the "oohs and ahhs" everywhere we take it. They do have the benefit of "a registry" and also each motor comes with a 2 year warranty and the actual dyno sheet. If you comparison shop with other well known builders, as soon as you add in the dyno sheet and the 2 year warranty you are close in price anyway.
Another nice thing about the Roush motors is they come complete from aircleaner to
oil pan ... none of the others really come this way (atleast as they are advertised).
That being said, we are just as happy using the Ford Racing motors too.
If it's a budget thing I would suggest putting more money in the car than the motor...
