I'm surprised I have'nt seen this comment, so here goes:
I think you are paying a lot for the Roush name, not nessarily getting better hardware. I have seen numberous post over the yrs of people having mechanical problems and warranty problems with both Roush and Ford crates. Warranties are worthless if your racing/redlining the engine. Look at the lfine print.
I think you are better served with a motor built to your requirements by a good builder. A 6K street cruising motor is a different animal than a 7k track eng that you want to flog for years with no trouble. It takes bucks to make a hi-pro live a long time. Any crate engine is a tradoff off of bucks vs quality that you had no input into. Big corps are is business to maximize profits, not to provide you the best motor. My humble opinon.
I think there are alot better engines and more bang for the buck out there
