Thanks , I am going to have to play around with this set up . I had the misfortune of running my car on a Dyno this weekend and the 9 inch K&N did cause a sharp decrease in HP to the wheels. I lost ten to the rear wheels and the air fuel was also better with no air filter. I am tuning for giggle juice so everything must be 100 percent. The motor is just not that stout to throw away ten HP on the motor. If I pull the spacer plate from the nitous I have no clearance problems but these dam vets out of the box are getting faster and faster.

I don't believe my problem will be better with and offset. I am going to try a combination of different drop bases. The look of some of these circle track foam set ups might be considered ugly but thats life.
