I have a 351 stroked out to 416 and I put a remote
oil filter on it about 4 years ago. I never saw a bit of pressure loss. I did mine because it makes it a lot easier to change the
oil filter without pouring the hot
oil all over myself. Every one that I know around here has a remote oil filter on theirs.
