I don't believe STP has the
Zinc additive, as I think it is only a viscosity enhancer, i.e. thick petroleum.
You can buy a
zinc additive from GM parts that will replace/restore the zinc that is critically needed for parts that do alot of rubbing. I'd probably use that, and not STP or cam break in lube.
