Depends also whether it is a 289 comp/FIA car. The 289's had their jacks turned in as opposed to the 427 S/C turned out.

General rule of thumb( ) is nuts out...yet old pictures of the original cars, both 289 and 427 show them both ways and differing front to rear, even some of the museum cars are different.
