First, make sure the OD of the center between the inner and outer flanges matches or is slightly smaller than the hole. Warm the grommets by laying then in the sun, with a heat gun or sit on them, lubricate them with WD-40 or soapy water, then work each grommet into a hole. Pinch the grommet together, get one flange in, then push the rest in until it snaps into place.
