Default 2 - circa 1964 Carroll Shelby Cooper Ford Photographs

Currently for sale by auction... ends Aug-20-05 13:35:58 PDT

Autographed Photo: Black & white, slight matt finish with no border. Measures 8" x 10". Prominently signed in purple marker across hood of car. Believe Shelby is the gentleman in the photo, leaning against Cooper Ford. Age: ca.1964 Condition: Very good. One pale brown stain near left side head lamp. One pale pink stain on left pant/thigh area. No tears. Photo has slight 'crumpled' appear that is mostly visible at angles. Stamped "template" on back side reads: "Dave Friedman Photograph - This photograph is the copyright of Dave Friedman and must not be reproduced without the expressed permission of the photographer." The stamp also provides space for the hand written entry of the name of the driver, machine, date of event and remarks. These spaces remain blank. here is also an "A" with a "Zorro" slash under it - which is hand-written in black ink.


Cooper Ford Photo: Black & white, gloss finish with border. Measures 8" x 10". Display sign in photo reads: One of two cars purchased by Comstock Racing Team for 1964 competition in Canada and U.S. This new racing model was introduced last October and won the Riverside Grand Prix and Pacific Grand Laguna Seca. Sign also notes maker, origin and stats on the car. Age: ca.1964 Condition: Fair. One pale pink stain on side of car on right rear fender. One slight tear at upper right corner. There is a 2" piece of tape at the top center - from the soil around it's edges, it appears that the tape has been on the photo for some time. Photo has 'crumpled' appearance that has affected the surface - photo has the appearance of 'crazing'. White border has soiling. Upper left hand corner has pin-holes. Back side of photos has scotch tape covering 1/4" of left and right edge.
