Hank already posted but I thought I repost due to all the issues on the site lately.
I'm organizing a day at the Drags. Invitations to all the Factory Five Cobras, Backdraft Cobras and Corvettes here in San Diego to join together for a day at the Barona Drag Strip on March 18th. Their website is here:

It costs only $30/car & Driver, spectators are $10 each. A helmet and long sleeved shirt and long pants are required. If we get more than 20 cars we can have our own lane and run as many times as you'd like. Each run will produce a record of your times and speeds. An ambulance and full staff run the event and safety is a primary concern.
I've heard all the braging, now lets go out and have some fun.

So far, only Skip Augustine and Hank Steckel have said they will join us.
I have about 8 FFRs, 2 BDs, 1 SPF, 6 Corvettes and an 800hp hot rod. Should be a great day. Join us.
From a distance, it looks like the Factory Five Cobras and Corvettes really like using their cars to there fullest. Can't say that yet about SPF or BD guys.
