Default Trip to Alice Springs.

Well from what I am reading it appears all the old threads wont be coming back.

So I will start this thread up again just to keep everyone informed.
Who wants to come out to Alice Springs for a week or so and enjoy some of Australia's scenery and open speed limits?

I havent heard anything new from the Ferrari & Lamborghini guys but the trip is planed for 3rd August for as long or short as you wish to stay.

I recently went out to a re-opened homestead that has sealed roads all the way out, it is called Ross River Station and is set up with a nice bar and good roads, it is about a 190kl round trip.

Then there is a trip out to Glen Helen Homestead, this is about 280kl round trip, again all sealed roads and this is a trip the Ferrari guys went on last year so the roads are ok.

If you want we can head down to the Rock, 440kl each way or we can go to the Rock and continue on to Kings Canyon (about 300kl's) there is accomodation at Kings Canyon.

Another trip would be upto the Devils Marbles then lunch at Tennant Creek (525kl's to Tennant)

I have got an initial price of $106 per night for a room with 2 beds in town and this place has secure lock up for the cars.
My wife is talking to a friend who works in reception at Novotel and they have an area behind the building where cars can be hidden away.

So guys if you can all give me some names of who might be coming out and if you can email me so I have your address we can get some initial thoughts.

My email is davidr(@)peterkittle.com.au Just take out the brackets.
