Stuart there is many variables do you have narrowed wishbones,what angle are your shocks at? this will make a difference to the spring rate you use
I have 450 LB springs in my car and 540 LB in the front some people say that's too heavy I believe not,it has slight understeer at speed(better than oversteer) and sits flat through corners, still not using anti roll bars making chrome moly tube bars at present.
hope this can be a guide, if in doubt take your coil/shock units to pedders they can check what inch lbs you have
