What Dsprint said... Leave the gas cap OFF and try to duplicate the trip you took or replicate the conditions you stalled out in. If you don't stall your tank isn't venting properly and fuel isn't getting to the carb due to a vacuum condition in the tank. drill a hole in the cap which allows air in or get the tank vented to solve the problem.
