Hey TC,

Athens Burgers is in Dublin (not Livermore or Pleasanton ) The BACC stated 5 years ago with having breakfast at Athens, and this tradition has continued since. A year ago or so, some members from the South Bay chose to meet at Bajas in Mt. View once a month for breakfast, as an alternative to the "long drive" to and "early start time" of the breakfast at Athens. Just this year, the "South Bay Chapter" of the BACC decided to meet every 1st and 3rd Saturdays @ 8AM at Bajas.

I've had breakfast a Bajas a few times, and we have a smaller gathering there, as compared to the breakfast at Athens. The food is definitely better at Bajas, no one will argue that. At a typical Bajas breakfast, one may see 5 to 10 Cobras, with an occasional Coupe. At Athens, one may see 20 to 40 Cobras, with a handful of coupes, GT40s, Mustangs, etc. given that the weather is dry and not too cold.

TC, given your thrust and hunger for information, I thought you might appreciate understanding the general differences between the two local breakfast meetings.

BTW, the breakfast at Athens officially starts at 7:30, however some are known to arrive closer to 7am. The parking lot "social hour" usually lasts past 9am.

Hope this helps.

See you soon,
Randy R...
