these belts look more like the "DIEST" belts that i have from the '80s. i believe the orginal belts had the leather portion attached to the male side of the assembly and the female side of the assembly had a closed end at the or where the hook contacts the male side. also the attaching hardware does not look correct for the time period. i might be guessing but the 86 & 87 in the part numbers is probably the year code. also military designation on the original belts should be "AN" and not "MS" as "MS" designations are more recent military part prefixes.
