I was always under the impression that the original Cobras used a Mocal cooler. My suggestion is not to worry so much about originality because the cars changed as they evolved and it's possible to see original Cobras with several different layouts of the same parts. Just enjoy yourself and do whatever makes you happy. After all, your car is a REAL car albeit a replica.
