75W90 will be too heavy for a tranny designed to run with DexronIII or Mercon ATF. The newer tranny's like T5's, Tremecs, et.al, were designed with different synchro plates that I believe are paper backed and require the ATF to work smoothly and extend their life.

Try a search on Tremec transmissions and you'll find what is recommended and why. There is lots of information on this subject on the web.
