Chris,

If your motor does not tend to over heat when you start to push it a little it may be ok. A puke tank can take pressure and retain the coolant. A Gatorade bottle and 1/4 mile is another story. You will not be pushing your car very hard on the track and as long as your engine stays cool, you may be ok.

The thing is, if you do have a spill on the track you could put yourself and others at risk. Since we have plenty of time, I would recommend installing one. There are several that are nice looking and easy to install. And, absolutely no antifreeze.
