Maybe you can give us more info on your current suspension setup. But in general, I think the coilover systems do a better job and saves weight. As an alternative, you can change the current springs to ones that have a lesser rate. IOW, it may be that the ones that are installed now are too heavy. I think you can get them in different rates. I know that with coilovers, you can get the springs in a whole variety of spring rates. I changed my rear springs from 450 lbs to 375lbs and made a world of difference. I also changed the swaybar bushings to poly all around.
