I've used Redline water wetter with a small bottle of Bardahl water pump lubricant and distilled water, it has dropped my temp about 12-15 degrees and so far no metal missing. It's 95 here in Indonesia each and every day so we sure don't need anti freeze. As for the extra grounds, you can never have too many unless weight is a problem, then I just skip the donuts for a couple of days....Ken
