I have a Sperformance (for sale check the Cobras for sale) with 351 W and a Lakewood bellhousing. The car sits lower than normal and I modified the bellhousing. I first aligned all the bottom bolts so their flat sides were parallel to the ground, then I took a air cutoff wheel (please wear safety goggles) and cut off the bottom lip of the bellhousing even with the bottom bolts. As for the
oil pan, I am running a Canton pan, but my pan lies a little back from the center of the front wheels so that when I go over a speed bump the front tires lift everything up. This OK for speed bumps, but for road gators (truck retreads on the road) or the man hole covers, its slow down, or say a quick prayer.
