hello everyone. I'm sure ya'll have noticed I haven't posted...

Late thursday evening my husband's grandmother passed away. She was a whole 95 years young, and enjoyed every minute of her life. It has been a long weekend, and although now it is monday evening, it seems like Sunday...
Friday did the funeral home stuff- casket, obit, etc.
Saturday, carted boys to scout projects, blew off the car show, don't know what else, but a bunch of stuff. back to funeral home. Sunday, we had 'senior '06' lunch- my niece is graduating- at church, then straight after that went to a baby shower for a cousin about an hour away. Dashed back from that, then 'visitation' at the funeral home 6-8, then to inlaws to reminisce, then home. Today, luncheon for family at church, then the service at 2, then graveside then 'dessert' gathering at sister in laws til about 6. I'm beat. I'll post pics from TMS tomorrow, when I'm BY MYSELF.

My sons (and hubby) were pallbearers, and they looked so nice and grownup. Peter had his suit from middle school banquet last year, and #3 had new dress clothes for Middle school banquet next weekend. The girls, stood along with their cousin (the one graduating) while she read from Nanny's journal, written when she was 89.... So, all went well, and everybody laughed and cried, and now life will go on.
She was a 'queen' of the community, and loved by everyone. Nobody knows her name, just 'nanny'.

oh well. gotta go. #3 still has to work on his english poetry unit.
