My car was previously registered in Florida as a 2004 ERA 2 DR. I sent for and filled all the forms in the package from Albany. All I needed was my title proving I owned the car because it was already registered in my name. Now it is registered in New York as a 2004 custom 2 dr. The whole process went very smooth, just do it all correctly. The vin sticker looks like crap but who cares, its legal.
