Well--- I got to hold up for Jeff also---I checked his timing slips against Mike's 11 second run and if you put the et difference from the reaction/60 ft times equal, his runs were pretty close --he was losing over 1/2 second leaving the line with the street tires and the rear suspension was doing an African watusi ( WHA--TU--SI ) that was hurting him big time
The live axle cars have an advantage over the IRS cars on straight line stuff
Chris has a line lock and drag tires (I think)
I think Al had tires also, Shelby has race tires
Jeff ran way into the rev chip on every pass in some gear,, on his last pass we removed the aircleaner and he did a better burn out and the car launched hard and he got into second in pretty good shape but shut it off about half track on what would of been his best run, from my experience I think he would of been(could of, should of) been deep into the 11.4- 11.7 area.
