No, I'll probably build a brand new FE block through Tom like a Pond or Shelby based block in a few years since my car is a 427 based platform and I just love the FE, know them well (quirks and all). The original CJ (if I sell it and hate to part with it) will probably go to someone restoring a Shelby/KR car or something. I've already had a few offers to sell it and have been holding off. I have the matching engine/trans and they deserve to be in the an authentic car/restore situation. My car does not benefit from an original numbered block/trans. No reason for a crate motor since I have Tom. We can custom build what I want at a reasonable price. As jdog said, he's not cheap but from what I've seen in comparison to the inside of other motors you get a lot of value from Tom at FE Specialties.
