I just came out of the esses at about 130 heading for 160 on the back straight when all of a sudden this red GT blows by me on the inside and than he brakes hard for the boot and the guy throws the car sideways first right then left his back wheels kicking up grass and pebbles as he struggles to avoid being buried in the sand pit. Wow what a show and what a driver. When the session was over I went looking for the driver and all I could find was this old man with the long gray beard and ponytail standing next to the GT and I had to assume it was the owners father.
Probably not the same car that was just sold.

Yep, that is the guy. Saw him at a show in Reading, PA. Mentioned he had a new ERA GT on order and selling the present car.
The car was tired but not exhausted.
