There are carbs designed for use with superchargers (flow through carbs).
The output from the supercharger is routed to the intake (top opening) of the carb and the carb is calibrated to accomadate the forced air flowing through it.

I have a few cars with superchargers on them including a Rotrex SC (23 lbs of boost), a Lyshom SC (18 lbs of boost), and a garrett turbo setup, but their all on fuel injected cars.

10 Lbs of boost would make a very worthwile improvement in horsepower, but I would suggest an intercooler setup which would make more power and be more predictable. One of my cars uses a water/air intercooler which is extremely efficient and lowers the intake air temperature dramatically (which makes more power and makes knock less likely, allowing for more ignition advance). The water/air setup doesn't require air to flow through an exchanger so it takes up less room and needs no air flow (no intercooler in front of the radiator).
