Glad to hear you are "almost" there!!! It should proceed quickly from this point.
I also wanted to see my SPF registered as a "1966" (which was manufactured in 2000), as that is the year stated on the MSO. I asked around with NYS DMV personell, and found that there is NO WAY they would show 1966 on the title. The year (as you found) must be the build year for actually completing the car.
Looks like I saved a couple of weeks by not trying to stick with 1966 :-)
