Default BDR Engine/Transmission ID

I have BDR354 which I purchased from Reg. I was told that the car had a TKO500 Transmission in it. I was under the car today and noticed that the ID plate on the Tranny said TR3550-11. I thought, darn it! Thats not what I was supposed to have! So I went to the Tremec web sight and looked up the TCET 5008 number that is also listed on the tag. According to Tremec web site, this is a TKO rated at 600ft/lbs and has a 2.87 first gear and .64 5th. Sweet!
Now I have another question. How do I verify the FMS392 crate motor? I also can't find a serial number on it but I do not know where to look? Where can I find the SN and engine assembly number? I want to have these for insurance reasons.
One last item. I noticed one of my CV joint bolts on the rearend had backed out to the point that the CV boot was holding it from becoming road debre. What size are these bolts and can I purchase new ones somewhere? Most of them look like they have seen better days and I don't want to strip them out!
