The older was more of a cruiser and went with a 62 Tbird the younger was more rambunctious and he went with a blown 383 Chevelle. Both have settled down a bit to get stuff done but are planning to get back into it when they're established. I cant wait. Kids today have it harder today than we did when making money. I worked for 4X minimum wage while in H.S. but those blue collar jobs are gone. My kids ended up working at places like Mcdonalds etc. What kind of work do you do? Michael

ya it seems like less younger people are into cars these days. most of my friends dont even know what a cobra is? I was even a autobody instructor at a vo-tech school and the kids now a days are just plain lazy and have no respect or desire to learn how to do anything. I think its a case of them seeing monster garauge and orange county chopper, thinking its cool to watch and showing up for class dressing and talking like jessie james but in most cases they didnt even know what a socket was("Oh, is that what my mom plugs her lamp into dude?").I didnt last there long, I had to quit because the kids were just plain a$$holes.
But for the most part I worked at a few bodyshops while I was in college and started a fiberglass/canvas boat cover business when I was finishing up school. I mostly worked on boats and made ground effects and bodykits for some of the imports you see buzzing around. Now im mostly concentrating on building these cobras. I make the frames, bodies, assembly and paint all in-house.
Maybe its time to get a real job lol?
