Just picked up on this thread. I have #128 and was told to use Dot 5 in the brakes and Dot 3 (or 4) on the clutch. I bled my clutch before the WSCBash and it came out black and heavy (sank to the bottom of the bleed bottle). Burned I assume from the header heat. I talked to Papa Frank at the Bash and he said to use
synthetic DOT 3 in the clutch but I checked temperature ratings and am sticking with Castrol DOT 3/DOT 4. I am replacing my clutch master (from Summit) and rebuilding the actuator. Wrapped the clutch cyl with ceramic insulation.
