I like the BALDWIN brand filters. They have been making industrial filters for a very long time and venture into automotive filters a little too.
The standard FL1A replacement is a BALDWIN B2
Then the racing version is the B253 with many features and a 600psi burst strength.
They also have short versions of the B2 and many many other variations to suit many needs.
