Josh had a new adventure yesterday. He got to go up in a 1928 Great Lakes Bi-Plane !
They took off from a little airstrip here on Mustang Island.Went over Saint Joe Island, owned by the Bass brothers. There is a US WW II submarine that sunk there during the war that is visible from the air.Back over Port Aransas and the WW II Gun Batteries, the Lighthouse, jetties and ship channels, the WetLands,Corpus Christi Bay,up & down the beach and thenover our beach house.
If you notice, the plane is painted in it's original "Gulf Oil Colors". Like the GT-40.

Several more pictures in my gallery.
