It is VERY nerve wracking building your own engine!!! I would really like to tear it down again at some point and see how it looks inside. But then again, curiosity killed the cat... I better leave well enough alone.
I met up with a couple of Cobra owners for breakfast and we cruised Waikiki afterward. We parked right next to the beach on the main drag and sat a little ways away from the cars, in the shade. My what a view (bikinis everywhere, I do love the beach)!
Lots of people stopping by the cars, taking pictures, posing, having fun, some asking questions, etc. Not ONE person asked, "Is it real". They just enjoyed the cars! Twas a good day. The car is running exceptionally well and I scorched through the gears a number of times!
