Ok, so far I'm following the logic of the
oil temps.
Here is my problem. My
oil cooler is not even connected, and I can't get the
oil over 190 even on a 100 degree day. Engine temps never exceed 196, so maybe I need a warmer thermostat ?
FYI, I have a 418 stroker with a canton 8qt pan. Maybe that huge pan bleeds off too much heat ?
At least I can sleep at night knowing my car won't overheat if I get stuck in traffic.
