JBCOBRA, yes!! I amazed with how hot the
oil temps can climb if you keep the engine revs up. For me, a quick burst here and there doesn't do much...but if I maintain revs ...say above 3500-4000rpm...I need to keep an eye out on the
oil temp becuase it climbs with no signs of stopping. I either change my driving, to keep the revs lower, or turn on the
oil cooler.
I've never noticed this with other cars or engines. Is it just me, or just a Windsor thing...or is it because my SPF is the only car that I've ever had with an oil temp gage...?
