Talking Found one! No longer a bench warmer

I wanted to thank all of you from this thread and others that have helped me with answering questions and finding potential cars for purchase. I have been wanting/researching and shopping since I joined clubcobra.com in 2003. and as a result of postings on this forum, I was able to find my car. I've had it now for about two weeks and love it(Wife does too) .

It's a Lapis Blue Contemporary street style car with a 428 and a toploader, CCX 3-3835 (pics in my gallery). Since I found a used one, I'm able to put a few dollars into refining it even more, but I must say I'm starting with one heck of a base to work with. Mostly just cosmetic changes and such, to bring it a bit closer to a 10/10ths street config. (though I'm biased, I think it's awfully sharp as it sits today) For those that are interested, I plan on cronicling the updating on the forums from the way it was when I got it, to the final product, over the next six weeks or so. I also plan to do a write-up on the manufacturers and other members who were so generous with their time as I worked through the details, budgeting and options of building vs buying.
As I've learned over the last few years, an uncommon level of enthusiasm and good will, as well as good people enjoy and make cobras. Thanks again for helping my little "dream" come true.

All the best to all of you & stay tuned for the next chapters of CCX 3-3835,

David
