Default Pick a builder close to home

Always try to select a builder that is close to allow you periodical visits and occasional inspections of the work beging performed for you. You never know what you might end up with once the pan is buttoned up and the oil is poured in.

Continual communications between builder and customer will prevent misunderstandings and good references from past satisfied customers (not to mention the lack of negative experiences) will support your choice and make you feel much more confident you are getting what you want, need and paid for at a fair price with convenient service to back it up.

I have also heard good things regarding Fowler, as others here have already attested to.

Good luck in your new build!
