You know what kills me is that people go and supercharge Honda S2000's and new Corvette's and put out gobs of power with complete reliability. These cars are 11:1 CR !!!!!

What the hell ever happened to the old rule of thumb that supercharged cars needed low compression? My son's 03 SVT Cobra mustang that is intercooled & supercharged from the factory came with 8.5:1 CR like one would expect. So, . . . What gives? What is the answer???? These supercharged 11:1 CR cars seem to survive just fine with fairly high boost. Inquiring minds want to know!
