Ok, these might not be perfectly original, but they are quite a piece! I tired of little bubbles around the seams and my can had a couple dents that I mostly fixed with solder filler and a sander (not perfect). My car isn't totally original...I mean I polished it, I don't have an original sideoiler, and other little things, so what the hell. I need a new tank and figured this will be a good way to go.

Monday I ordered one of these suckers from the Kirkhams....Sure, it wasn't cheap at $400, but figured I would spend somewhere near that for a new old style or stainless. WOW! Got home tonight and it was on the door step and it's pretty damn sweet! Really amazing quality of the machine work. It's really really nice. If you're looking for the lightest weight unit, this is not it (it's billet afterall), but if you want a really high quality piece with great new world features (no gasket goop!!!) that looks fantastic, well this is a great addition! Can't wait to get that sucker on there.
