I am working on a project car, trying to be as correct as economically possible within my budget.

Plans call to use a 390 FE, affordable yet physically accurate . . .

But then my emotions get hold of me. Am I shooting myself in the foot if I put tri-power on the block?

Being raised in that generation, I know 3 x 2 is not vehicle correct but there is nothing cooler than the sound of three two barrels coming open.

Assuming a Hurricane body w/ FE & Tremec - being period correct as reasonable, how bad would the tripower hurt the vehicle?
