I have been a member for several years and have read nearly every thread, except for the last year or so. I have never posted, guess I just never made the time...
I purchased a Shell Valley kit several years ago. Had an engine built, custom differential and axles, extensive upgrades to original kit. I have receipts for over 40k (no labor included) and an excel spread sheet that lists part numbers, source and manufacturer, which I am going to attempt to attach to this post.
The car is basically mocked up, less brake system and electrical. It still needs paint, powder coat and carpet.
I am highly motivated to sell this car even though I don't want to, I have to. It is all top of the line components and workmanship, No butchery or shortcuts. Someone who wishes to have a really nice car has an opportunity that I wish I could have come across when I began to build my dream car.
The build status is as follows:
- The engine short block is completely balanced and assembled. (Precision/Scat)
- Differential is assembled complete and installed, big axles, high output carrier. (Currie Ent.)
- Engine (522", 632hp), transmission (Richmond 5-speed), driveline (900hp), motor mounts located and installed.
- Radiator and water cooling system located and mounted, hoses fittings etc.

Oil system, proper cooler, cooler shroud, remote filter, completely installed, utilizing, braided stainless, AN fittings through out.
- Fuel system, fuel tank (Shell Valley), fill hose , Le mans polished alum. filler cap, braided stainless vent lines, AN fittings, Electric fuel pump (Holley Black), fuel filter, external fuel pressure guage (on carburator feed lines), all braided stainless, intsalled.
- Seats installled, ( black leather), door panels (black leather.
- Exterior lights, all located, fit then removed for body paint.
- Billet battery brkt, battery (Optima), cables, shut off switch, starter, alternator, billet brkt. and details (March), alternator polished (March), fitted and installed.
- Power steering pump mounted ( Speedway) braided stainles, AN fittings
- Complete set of guages installed in dash (Custom Classic)
- Hood scoop modified for improved appearance and aerodynamics.
- Wheels/tires, PSE 17x9,17x11, pin drive, BFGoodrich, G-Force 275/40, 315/35.
I have made significant upgrades to this kit, all the right stuff!! I have all of the receipts and any other detail, pics or specs you desire.
