I do not believe it was a Superformance. If I am correctly informed it was one of several built in a limited run in Australia.

I have just watched a report from AU TV showing the corner in Question and an interview with the Event winner. The road was sealed with a small amount of tree leaf debris on the shoulders. At the time of the event the road was wet and apparently very slippery. Other drivers have commented on the difficulty of that particular corner.

The car had data recording equipment on board which is being checked for further info.
